PRINCE2® Power Seminar

Become a Practitioner in just one week!

The 5 day PRINCE2® Power Seminar allows you to combine the PRINCE2® Foundation seminar with the Practitioner course. You are given a brief overview of all project management issues and receive a detailed insight into the way PRINCE2® operates. The practical case studies allow you to appreciate how the approach is applied in practice.

During the first three days, you will study PRINCE2® terminology, processes, components and roles. The PRINCE2® Foundation certificate will be sat in the afternoon on the third day. Finally, you will reinforce your knowledge of the theory with practical examples. The PRINCE2® Practitioner examination takes place at a later date, to allow participants enough time to prepare themselves thoroughly for the examination.

Depending on dates, the PRINCE2® Power Seminar takes place either in our seminar rooms in Machtlfinger Straße, Munich, or in a well-appointed hotel in the Cologne-Bonn area.

- In-depth coverage of the following PRINCE2® phases:

• A more controlled and organised project launch
• Structured project management and controlled closing phase
• Regular control of progress against the project plan and business objectives 
• Using the PRINCE2® approach to set flexible milestones for management decisions and continuous information flow

- Exercises and case studies
Based on practical scenarios, you will learn how to apply the PRINCE2® approach when dealing with everyday project situations.

• Using PRINCE2® guidelines to solve exercises and example cases  
• Getting acquainted with PRINCE2® resources
• Preparing PRINCE2® related documents such as product structure plans, business case, etc.
• Applying PRINCE2® techniques to conduct risk analysis, impact analysis etc.
• Using PRINCE2® components to organise, plan, control and manage the project phases

Prerequisites:

None, although practical experience of projects is an advantage.
