IT Support/ IT Project Team Training
You will get to know your own individual strengths in this two-day team-building training, which includes outdoor components. Communication within the group will be constantly put to the test during the outdoor activities before the two trainers provide you with their feedback. At the end of the first day, the group independently defines clear guidelines for future teamwork. From this point on, the group becomes a team.
Contents:
Module 1: Team Performance Day (2 days)
1. Compilation of team conduct through completion of team sheets; values will be recorded anonymously on the flipchart
2. Presentation and classification of typologies (generalisation)
a. What are the established typologies?
b. How can we benefit from typologies?
c. Typology specifics
3. Indoor team exercise to experience the styles present in the team
4. Review of the team analysis
a. How is the team structured?
b. What team strengths can be identified?
c. In which ways would you suggest the team changes?
5. Outdoor:
a. Orienteering exercises in the grounds over the duration of the seminar
b. Integrated team exercises, with intensive introductory remarks and debriefing, covering the following topics:
i. Communication
ii. Trust
iii. Leadership
iv. Effective Teamwork
v. Keeping agreements
vi. Your own behaviour vs. impact on the group
vii. Recognising reasons behind other group members’ actions
6. Summary of the findings – Compilation of binding team rules or guidelines
Objective:
Recognised improvement in teamwork within sales, support functions and project teams. Systematic methods ensure that the theory is sustainably applied in practice.
Module 2: Team meeting (half a day)
Coaching for the management team, conducted on your premises by one of our Team Training coaches. This module comprises general preparation and conduct of a team meeting, concluding with feedback. The trainer observes the awareness of the guidelines from the Team Training, and the extent to which these are observed. We recommended this takes place approximately two months after the Team Training.
