ITIL® v3 Managing Across the Lifecycle

Successfully implementing the Service Lifecycle requires considerable knowledge of the ITIL® v3 processes and how they interrelate. The 4-day Managing Across the Lifecycle seminar completes the content of the Service Lifecycle and Service Capability stream modules and focuses on the specific measures required to reach predetermined business and managerial objectives. The most important issues from the five ITIL® core books will be revisited and the relationship between the different processes will be developed.
This course is the last module in the ITIL® v3 training, which leads to the ITIL® Expert certificate upon successful completion.

The certification takes place at the end of the module. This comprises 8 scenario-based multiple-choice questions, of which at least 70% must be answered with sufficient marks (28 marks out of a possible 40) within 90 minutes.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
- understand the importance of Service Management for the business,
- explain how all processes interrelate and how they are implemented,
- recognise risks and initiate remedial measures in time to overcome them,
- understand and overcome organisational challenges,
- recognise the interaction with other standards and frameworks.
You must have earned a minimum of 17 credits during the preceding Intermediate level courses. Upon passing the examination, you will be awarded an additional 5 credits, bringing your credit total to the minimum 22 credits that are required for ITIL® Expert to be awarded. Attendance of a particular course is also mandatory to be eligible to take the corresponding examination.
