Although Service Support and Service Delivery are terms that are often used synonymously with ITIL® version 2, the IT Infrastructure Library® offers more than these two topics alone. Infrastructure Management and Application Management play just as important a role within the ITIL® framework. However, neither of these topics is covered in the classic ITIL® training – which is something we want to change!

What is the use of planning the Service Management processes in detail, if ultimately, the outcome cannot be implemented in its entirety? ICT Infrastructure Management provides the operational implementation of the planned action and is hence the technical basis for a company’s IT systems. Efficient Application Management ensures a smooth overlap between application development and the business. This process supports the entire lifecycle, from application development to implementation.
